With the pieces prepped, we hoisted the first sheet of 4"x6" laminated safety glass (think store front windows) into place with gigantic mechanical suction cups, on loan from The New Wanky Workshop. The glass comes from Perkins Glass, a family-owned company on Seattle's Capitol Hill for over 100 years.
