
This is the smaller of the two stages set up in the main plaza of the Cultural Center grounds. There were a couple of spotlights, and a very good team of sound engineers at our disposal for the concerts. Unfortunately, the plaza soaked up the 95+ degree heat all day and by this time in the evening, it was like a gigantic pizza oven.
Nevertheless, the Toucans put on a fine performance, and enjoyed several good shows from many of the other groups, including a percussion ensemble from Singapore and traditional Chinese dancers.
