Dessert, Kaohsiung-Style
This group of students had a gigantic bowl of a local delicacy, the iced fruit bowl. Ours was smaller, but only slightly. Imagine a giant snow cone doused with a sweet brown sugar syrup, and covered in sliced fresh fruit: melons, bananas, kiwi, etc. The perfect thing for a tropical south-western Taiwan evening on the town!
