Jerry and "Mom"
Here is Jerry, who showed us the sights of Kaohsiung on our day off, with the proprietor of our lunchtime restaurant. This particular dumpling store had been in business for 60 years, and Jerry used to come here all the time when he was a student. The woman with Jerry said that he didn't have to pay if he would call her "Mom".
We never quite figured out whether he did or not. The dumplings were fantastic!
